Yet, we've found that many of our members understand the concept, it's the getting there and defining where "there" is that are problematic. The truth is while it can have a lot of different meanings depending on your own organizations individual implementation plan, there are some core issues that the term smart grid implies. To give our energy organizations a starting point and framework, UTC partnered with Kema to develop a helpful report entitled, "Smart Grids: Building a Strategic Technology Roadmap." The report presents a framework to start planning your organization's Smart Grid vision and overall roadmap of what smart grid is going to mean to you. The report includes detailed guidance for organizing for planning and for the creation of work groups. This webinar will focus on highlights from the report and give you a chance to ask the authors questions to better put the research to work for you.
