Webinar: NIST's Smart Grid Communications Standards—How They Impact Your Business Plans

Join us on 11/02/2010 from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The future of smart grid communications is being set by those few who can participate in the extensive effort to craft new standards. That leaves many of us wondering what has been agreed upon and what is left to be decided. The purpose of this webinar is to discuss these questions and probe into the potential impact that these new standards will have upon the smart grid business plans of the utilities and the impact on those who will have to live by the standards. In this second of two webinars, we'll look at Priority Action Plans (PAPs) 10 and 15, focusing on home area network communications. These PAPs address the standardization of energy usage information (PAP10) and standardizing power line carrier communications for appliances within the home (PAP15).

UTC hosted another Webinar on PAP01 and PAP02 on September 23, 2010. More presentations will follow!
