UTC Divisions & Committees

At UTC, we value the input and participation of our members. From the Board of Directors to our Regional Chairpersons, our organizational structure makes it easy for employees of member organizations to get involved. Business Development Division

The UTC Business Development Division is charged with helping members identify and promote "high potential" business opportunities, create and maintain a source of references of how to best leverage telecommunications and information related issues and provide a forum for discussion, review and analysis of potential business opportunities.

Member Services Division

Participants in UTC's Member Services Division work on internal member functions that form the backbone of UTC's member participation. This includes committees such as the meetings advisory, membership development, UTC Journal editorial, research steering and program planning committee for the Annual Conference.  The Member Services Division also encourages volunteers to participate on this Division and others.

Public Policy Division

Participants in UTC's Public Policy Division include member companies and their employees interested in helping to develop strategies to advocate legislation and create a legislative/regulatory environment that is friendly and beneficial to member organizations' telecommunications and information technology needs. 

Technical Division

UTC's Technical Division is responsible for developing and implementing UTC policies on the technical aspects of telecommunications and information technologies as they relate to members' needs. The Division also supplies technical input to the Association's other Divisions and Committees to help them develop new policies and projects.

Regional Division

The UTC Regions are the foundation of UTC, with the Regional Division representing the leadership of all UTC Regions.  The Chair of this Division implements plans that range across the divisions and works on grassroot membership recruiting efforts.  The Regional Divsion also works to implement strong regional meetings and communication.

International Division

UTC's International Division is responsible for maintaining UTC's international scope.  The international division works to ensure UTC is capturing opportunities internationally and communicating international ideas back to UTC.
