2011 Compliance Training - AugustJoin us on 08/16/2011 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pmApplicants, licensees and antenna structure owners must comply with hundreds of FCC regulations and federal statutes to avoid severe penalties, fines and forfeitures. In fact, it's so many that it's hard to keep up with everything and coordinate internally what needs to be done and when. In addition, the FCC has increased enforcement efforts and imposed significant forfeitures, even for paperwork violations. To help members recognize and address compliance gaps, UTC has created this two-part UTC Webinar session and updated UTC Compliance Manual. This UTC Webinar will cover a range of compliance issues, including frequency coordination, licensing requirements, compliance headaches and antenna structure registration. This training also will review RF safety issues and rules, including a discussion of the signage and training needed to comply with FCC and OSHA rules on human exposure to RF emissions. Since all of these issues involve government rules and regulations that MUST be adhered to, it is important to be familiar with all of the FCC, FAA and OSHA requirements that are involved.
