FCC Grants UTC and NEI Request on Telex Headset WaiverThe FCC has modified a waiver that mandated certain TV distance separation requirements and power limits for the operation of Telex headsets inside nuclear power plants. This waiver is in response to a petition filed by the Utilities Telecom Council and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). UTC Files Joint Comments on FCC's Cybersecurity Roadmap ProceedingUTC, EEI, APPA and NRECA filed joint comments with the FCC in its proceeding on the development of a cybersecurity roadmap (PS Docket No. 10-146).
