UTC Kicks Off UTC TELECOM 2007

Austin, TX – UTC TELECOM 2007, the annual conference of the Utilities Telecom Council, a trade association that serves as the premier source of telecom and IT advocacy, information and services for critical infrastructure industries kicked off today at the Austin Convention Center.

Sunday’s program features a golf tournament, in-depth tutorials and the Grand Opening of UTC EXPO 2007. The tutorials focused on wireless business opportunities, Broadband over Power Line, utility telecom, microwave technology, Internet Protocol and RF engineering. Each of these sessions was geared to preparing new attendees and those new to the field for educational sessions later in the week.

UTC EXPO 2007, UTC TELECOM 2007's exhibit hall, features over 120 leading product and service providers to the telecom and IT critical infrastructure industry.
