It is our pleasure to announce that Gainesville Regional Utilities will
host the Spring 2007 UTC Region 3 meeting on March 7-8, 2007 in
Gainesville, FL. Please mark your calendars and make your hotel
reservations now. Specific details are below:
The UTC regulatory update and business meeting will be
held on Wednesday afternoon, March 7, 2007 and the technical
presentations session will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007. If you
would like to suggest a topic or wish to make a technical presentation
at this meeting, please contact Tom Perry at the address and phone
number listed at the end of this letter.
Sarah Poole, Marketing Director for Phillips
Communications & Equipment, will be handling vendor registrations

Members, if there are vendors who you would like to see at the meeting
but are not regular participants, please refer them to Sarah or direct
them to this website.
Conference registration is $30 per attendee for both
members and vendors alike (Cash or Check only please). Checks should be
made payable to UTC Region 3. Also note vendors can now pre-register
with Sarah Poole of Phillips Communications and Equipment at (434)
985-3600.
The Vendor Exhibition will be open on Wednesday evening,
March 7, 2007 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Come out and enjoy an evening
with great food & refreshments while you talk with colleagues, meet
vendors, and experience the latest technology & solutions the
industry has to offer! There will be drawings for fantastic door prizes
at 7:30 PM and you must be present to win. A business card will be
requested from each attendee at the time of registration to be placed
in the drawing.
The nearest major airport to the meeting site is
Gainesville Regional Airport. For those traveling by air,
transportation from the airport to the hotel is available via hotel
shuttle and taxi.
