Utility Company property and infrastructure provides numerous opportunities for constructing wireless equipment and constructing wireless towers. This session discusses the advantages and limitations of utility company collocations.The presentation focuses on the type of resources that are needed to develop a collocation business unit, what to expect in regards to policies and procedures and how to market the advantages of utility collocations such as easier zoning, consistent agreements, and access to utility substructure. The site acquisition, application and approval process will be profiled and the different business opportunities and that are possible within the different types of regulated utilities will be discussed.
